Being a Female, What is your Clothing Style?

Ways to Boost Energy

Have you realized that work and time have a deep bond? This is true because time is limited and work has to be completed in that phase. Perhaps, there is more to it. The more you work, the more you earn and the more you earn, the more stable your life becomes. Many people will agree to this but here I personally think that this is wrong. How can one expect to have a stable life when the health of that person is not good and exposed to constant problems?

With more work come more stress, tensions and worries. In fact, the more you focus on work, the more you are cut from other activities. I have seen lots of people just concentrating on work and not paying attention to social activities and health. If work brings money then there are other things that are equally important to bring happiness in life.

Graphic designers who are engaged in mental activity all day long designing projects have these issues.

• So what then?

So what then?

It is very important to socialize with friends and relatives because this is what relaxes and keeps mind open. Thinking about work issues all the time will not make you graphic designers a billionaire!

Exercise is important to keep energy levels high throughout the day. On the other hand, it stops your body from piling too much fat.

More importantly, when people start earning more money, they forget about taking healthy meals on time which negatively affects their health. During work hours, there is high probability that one would sit and start work after eating. This eventually fattens a person. One should not forget illnesses a fat person could be exposed to.

Other than this, sleep is an important factor for maintaining a good focus on work. Due to work pressure, most of the people are not able to complete their sleep. The next day, they would rely on coffee and drinks which affects work. In designing more stress has to be given on thinking and these drinks could lower this ability.

Alcoholic drinks are so common which are mostly used to relax the body. These are consumed by people heavily involved with different creative projects. However, they forget the side effects these drinks have on the body. During work hours, they might think about taking a cup of coffee to remove the drowsiness but then again, this is like piling more than required! It is a fact that majority of the people manage to take stress and work more because they have the aid of alcohol and caffeine.

So where does the solution lie? The best thing is to think about ways to maximize energy and be more productive, creative and crazy towards work. There are certain easy ways through which one could do this.

• Be an exercise machine!

Be an exercise machine!

Well, this certainly does not imply that one should build muscles whole day long. What this means is that in order to maximize your energy and boost creativity, one should exercise for around 30 minutes daily. This is not that difficult, is it? I get up at 7.30 in the morning and exercise for half hour. Believe me, it is the best cure to remain active and furthermore, it keeps my mind open.

Exercise is a means to boost your body metabolism. Because of this, one would stay fit the rest of the day. It is recommended to take out morning time for your work out because the level of hormones is the greatest. For those who cannot manage to do this, a 10 minute walk would be perfect. If not even this, then get up from your work desk and stretch out for a couple of minutes ever few hours.

• Growling Stomach Eats Up Your Creativity

Growling Stomach Eats Up Your Creativity

Eat food with proteins and vitamins to increase energy levels. Vegetables and fruits are very important.  The idea is to take proper meals and on time because your body needs time for digestion. Do not over eat as it will bring more discomfort and you will not be able to focus. If one has had a well-balanced breakfast then it could be enough for keeping sugar levels high the whole day.

• Need Good Ideas? Sleep well!

Need Good Ideas? Sleep well

Sleep is the most compromised factor in people’s lives, especially, if they are into designing work. The more they work, the lesser they sleep. This does not suit in the long run because it triggers one’s Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A good night sleep could be between 7-9 hours. It is necessary for hormones to develop properly. It is also recommended to avoid too much alcohol and caffeine because it could lead to serious insomnia. When your mind will be fresh then new ideas will definitely pop into your mind.

• Beverages are important - Stay Hydrated!

Beverages are important - Stay Hydrated!

Believe me, if you want to maintain your energy levels and increase creativity then keep your body filled with water. Substitutes like soda water are not effective as they have chemicals and could affect your thought process and creativity.

Beverages also help maintain energy levels but if taken strategically. Consuming a lot of caffeine could let you lose your focus on work, brings nervousness and an irritable feeling.  Moreover, the effect couple of cups a day makes on your body will not be the same if taken excessively

• Breathe! Focus! No need to Multitask!

Breathe! Focus! No need to Multitask

One way to remain active throughout your work is to focus on one thing at a time. Do not go into multitasking as your mind will be absorbed into many things. This will derail you out of the target. Develop a habit of committing yourself to specific work tasks and believe me, you will feel the difference in little time.

• Last but not the least – Redefine health

Last but not the least – Redefine health

Perhaps a walk of 10 minutes might relax and put you back on the track. Try taking short breaks. Or in the middle of your work, tune into radio and listen to your favorite music. This will make you happy and might bring imaginative ideas related to work.

Also previously, our blog has given many tips for graphic designers to be creative and healthy. Follow such tips and you will surely become a successful graphic designer with loads of energy. ;)

I believe that once these things are followed, no one will ever suffer from fatigue and reduced energy levels during project hours. So have a firm belief over yourself and work hard to attain success in graphic design! For comments, feel free to write because you will be highly appreciated.

Great ideas, the only drawback - it’s very hard to use them in real life. especially sleeping and not multitasking - the lack of time seems to be the biggest illness of our time

The culprit for getting fat and tired in the US is Wheat. It has been destroyed with all the genetic manipulation that has taken place over the last 40 years. Avoid bread and wheat and you will drop those pounds. Eat protein and veggies for energy. The Europeans eat Emmer wheat which is different from American wheat and not genetically messed up. Einkorn and Emmer wheat is better for you.
