The curtains have finally fallen on the greatest event in sporting history, the FIFA World Cup 2010. A new champion was crowned as Spain lifted the trophy for the first time beating the Dutch by a solitary goal. Graphic designers and footballers alike, the whole world was spell-bound by the enchantment of World Cup Fever. It truly has been a momentous one month of football packed with scenes of extreme action, drama, emotions, jubilation, upsets and what not.

To capture moments as unforgettable as these is the true essence of photography, be it day or night photography.     I love photo #2. The intensity in the guy’s face is impressive. I also love the editing done to photo #18, zooming into the one fan in the crowd. It shows the intensity that each and ever fan can experience singularly while watching this exciting sport.
