Hi Why are Macs preferred for so many graphic designers? I've used a PC for all of my life and I've found Macs kind of, dare I say, confusing. It'll be hard transitioning from Windows to Mac if I become a graphic designer.

They used to be preferred because Adobe created Photoshop for Mac way back in the day. Obviously it was ported and now I believe Windows actually performs better using CS3. At least in my experience it has been.

the whole point about macs is that they don't need maintenance like windows machines does. less problems, more stability... they cost more than a regular pc but with macs you don't have to pay for extra software such as antiviruses or like. having said that, I use a pc. I like to control and manipulate my machine as far as I can, with macs this is quite hard to do this.

Nice share there! I wonder how many business card collections there are online. But I gotta admit they do make for pretty good eye-candy. Love the design of the winner of the above contest by the way.
