I am a newly graduated college student. I was very lucky to be hired on at a design/printing company right after school. As you know, in some places, the market is pretty bad for designers like us. So I am thankful for getting a job before a lot of my classmates. I am learning a lot about the printing side of design but I am still able to be creative and design a lot of my own projects. I am looking forward to meeting designers like you and sharing ideas and information to make us all better graphic designers.

nice to meetcha ^^. I haven't done a lot of printing stuff yet, except for like formatting and stuff. What degree do you have, and what projects did you work on on the side?

I have an Associate in Science, Associate in Arts, Associate in Applies Science (basically a two year degree in graphic design and communications), and I also have a Bachelors in Science in another field. I have been doing some work for friends and family, but I am really looking to get started with the whole freelance thing. I've did a few logo designs, brochures, illustrations, and some photoshop stuff for fun!
